You might have noticed that our website is divided into three sections: BUY, MAKE and PLAY. Every time you design a shirt in the MAKE section, you can save that design which other customer can then purchase from our BUY section. If someone purchases one of your designs, we'll reward you for inspiring the community for your excellent taste with $5 in J.J. cash towards your next purchase.
Jay, the man behind J.J. Threads, started using a red stitch in his top button hole some years ago and it's become his signature. We wanted to share this option with you as another fun representation of our style.
How do I make a purchase?
Shopping at J.J. Threads is fun and easy! Here's how:
- Create your own shirt from scratch in the DESIGN section of the website. Our design tool will walk you through the simple multi-step process from selecting fabrics to collar and cuff options. Once you've completed your design, click "Choose Size" which opens a pop up window containing fit and size options. Finally, add the completed shirt to your shopping cart and away we go.
- BROWSE through the User Design gallery or the J.J. Collection. If you would like purchase something as is, click "Buy" to select size and fit. If the shirt is almost perfect, but you need to make some adjustments, click "Modify." This will move the existing design to the DESIGN section of the site so you can alter it as you like.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
You don't need to set up an account, but there are benefits if you do:
- Order status, tracking and history in one easy place
- Save designs to our design gallery or a wish list and earn J.J. Cash when other people buy them.
- Store shipping information for quicker, easier checkout.
- Manage email preferences at a glance.
Forgot your password? Have no fear. We'll have you designing shirts again in no time. Follow the "Forget Password" instructions on the "Log in" page. For security reasons, we can't email you the password, but we can email you instructions to reset it.
Can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation containing an order summary and tracking information. For J.J. Threads account holders, tracking services are always available under "My Orders."
How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?
After you place your order, we will send you an email confirming its receipt. In the rare instance that a fabric you have selected is not available, you will receive an email from our Customer Care team.
We will authorize your card at the time you place the order and debit upon shipping.
What shipping rates does J.J. Threads charge?
We charge US$12.00 flat shipping fee on each order.
Which countries does J.J. Threads ship to?
J.J. Threads ships to approximately 25 countries, as listed below:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States.
When will my order be processed?
Orders placed by 5:00 P.M. EST are processed the next working day. Orders are expected to reach destination within 10-14 working days.

Does J.J. Threads ship to multiple addresses?
You may only ship to one address per order. If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address.
Does J.J. Threads ship to post office boxes or freight forwarding addresses?
Please note that we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes and we do not deliver to forwarding addresses.
Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
We are unable to redirect orders to a different address after dispatch. Therefore, please ensure you provide a suitable shipping address for the specified delivery times.
Can I add items to an existing order?
It is not possible to combine orders or add items to an existing order. If you would like all your items to be delivered together, you will need to cancel your order(s) and place a new order which contains all the items you require.
What packaging will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped in J.J. Threads Premium Packaging enclosed in a FedEx box.
What is your return policy?
If for any reason you are not happy with your J.J. purchase, you may return the items postmarked within 30 days of receipt for an online merchandise credit or refund less the shipping charges. Please return items in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with the tags attached. Because we cannot be responsible for packages mailed to us, we suggest that you use a trackable and insured mail service. Please allow 2 weeks from the time you mail your order for your return or exchange to be processed. We will email you once we received your item, and again once your return has been processed. Returns should be sent along with your return form to the address below:
How long does it take to process my return?
Once your package has been received by us, your refund will be processed within 7 business days and you will be notified via the email address in your account. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us. Allow up to two billing cycles for a refund to appear on your credit card statement.
I was shipped the wrong size/fabric/color. What do I do?
If you were shipped incorrect merchandise—style,color, size, fabric or construction—you must notify us within 30 days of receiving the product to be eligible for a refund. We will pay for the return shipping for incorrectly filled orders.
We will require the following pieces of information from you:
Name, Email address, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date.
Please be assured that we go to great lengths to keep your personal information private and confidential. At no point will we rent or sell it. If necessary to approve your order, we may verify your details with a credit reference agency.
